Sniff out our dog-friendly lodges that are specially designed to welcome dogs of all sizes and cater to your pup in every way – think homely luxury, doggy treats, toys, and plenty of trails to explore.

Whether you’re looking for a restful holiday, an active family break, weekend staycation, or some foodie delights, read on to discover how we’ve created the perfect retreat for every person – and every dog – to enjoy.

A paw approved, dog-friendly stay

There’s no rule that says you can’t combine a luxury retreat with a dog-friendly attitude – because like most of you, we are dog lovers too!

From romantic shepherd’s huts to glamping safari tents and gorgeous luxury villas, over 70% of lodges at Bainland are dog friendly. With private enclosed gardens or patios in every dog-friendly lodge, you get to enjoy maximum relaxation without having to worry about any sneaky escapes. So, kick off your shoes, get comfortable, and enjoy a dip in an al fresco hot tub while your dog frolics in the grass nearby.

More than one dog? No worries. We welcome up to four pooches per stay, depending on the lodge you opt for, at an extra cost from £45 per dog. What’s more – Bainland will pamper your pet with a special doggy welcome pack which includes a roll of 100 poo bags, dog treats, a dog toy, and food and water bowls in the lodge.

Dog-friendly facilities

Those who want to keep their dog close-by can enjoy a pet-friendly dining experience at The Nest – Bainland’s brand new restaurant and bar with a gorgeous all-weather terrace. Dogs are welcome to sit either inside or outside with their owners as you chow down on some delicious homemade food.

What’s more – our dog-friendly, on-site farm shop, The Stores, stocks a host of dog supplies, from leads and treats to food and toys. So don’t worry if you’ve forgotten to pack a couple of things – we’ve got you covered. Pop down for some of your favourite food too, including freshly baked bread, Stokes coffee, or Lincolnshire plum bread ice cream – a true foodie’s paradise.

While there is an abundance of exploration to do, out of courtesy to other guests and because of our stunning surrounding wildlife, we kindly ask you to keep your dog on a lead while roaming around the 45-acre estate. Nevertheless, there are a host of wonderful walks nearby where they can roam free without a lead. Our activities team will be happy to share the details.

Set tails wagging in the great outdoors

Further afield, the Lincolnshire coastline is beautiful and ideal for dogs – with plenty for a man’s best friend to enjoy. What’s more – Bainland is just 30 minutes away from Lincoln which is a wonderfully dog-friendly city, and the Lincoln Cathedral (also dog-friendly!) has just emerged from its scaffolding after 40 years – an absolute must-see.

If you love being by the water, consider trying the Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve during your stay – you’ll be able to stretch your legs and walk your pup while taking in the breath-taking views and variety of wildlife. Moreover, if you want to find a trail that has something for every member of the family, a visit to Belton House will give you lakes, various walking routes, wild deer, and a huge kids’ play area.

It doesn’t stop there! For dogs that love to wander and explore, they’ll be in for a treat at Snipe Dales. The country park has a vast rolling landscape, full of beautiful valleys, streams, and sights. Your pup will be as happy as can be and maybe even make a couple of friends along the way.

Lodges designed with your dog in mind

From cosy cabins and luxurious lodges to glamping tents and 12-bedroom villas, there’s a huge variety of lodges to choose from at Bainland – all of which are  perfectly suited for a dog-friendly holiday.

Feel free to sit back and relax in an al fresco hot tub, fire up the barbeque, or enjoy an evening around the fire pit toasting marshmallows with your furry friend by your side. There’s even an option to have your own private swimming pool in our English Garden Villa and English Country Villa where the whole family can have fun, and if you’ve got a competitive streak, then choose a lodge with a pool table or arcade.

With outdoor space perfect for exploring and indoor space for relaxation, it’s safe to say you and your dog won’t want to leave this lap of luxury!
