BOOKING DETAILS

Bookings can be changed for any reason, subject to availability, provided the change is made at least 8 weeks in advance of your arrival date. You can choose to change the date of your booking immediately, or you can place your booking into a pending transfer account whilst considering new dates.  Your pending transfer can then be moved along with any funds or deposit already paid, once new booking dates have been confirmed. This needs to be within 12 months of the date of your original booking.
You may only change your booking once, and you must select your new arrival date within the time period set out above.  Bookings held beyond this date will be treated as a cancellation and the non-refundable booking fee to cover administration costs will be charged. Please note that any change of date may involve in a change in the price of your stay depending on rates, availability and the size of the lodge at the time of booking. The price payable is the greater of i) your original break cost; or ii) the price for your revised booking which applies at the time of your change.

Yes we do – but we do have a quiet policy in place after 10:00pm. Please note that we only accept family bookings for our safari tents. We are unable to accommodate group bookings or same-sex parties in our tents due to their location and being under canvas.
Yes we certainly do! We offer a £50 returners discount when you stay with us again within the next 12 months. Please contact us for this to be added to a new booking or you will find the returners discount code within your feedback form. We can only add the discount at the time of booking or before your final balance is due. Please make sure all details match your previous booking with us. We look forward to welcoming you back!
The best way to make a reservation with us is through our website. You can then manage your own booking and log in when you need to make any amendments, payments or add your guest details. Unfortunately we do not take any payments over the phone. 

ARRIVING AT BAINLAND

Check in time is from 4.00pm, you are more than welcome to arrive early and use all of our facilities while you are waiting for your lodge. We have The Nest Bar & Bistro, instructor led activities and our swimming pool available.

Check in to your accommodation is at 4pm. You are however welcome to arrive earlier should you wish to use our facilities including our restaurant, play areas and bookable activities. There is the option to book an early check in to your accommodation from 2pm.

We will ask you to confirm the personal information on your booking upon check in. Please make sure that you have sent us all of your guest details before arriving too. We look forward to welcoming you!
Before your arrival to Bainland we do require guest details for each member of your party as well as their vehicle registration numbers. You will receive emails from Bainland as to when this information is required. At check in you will receive a car pass for all vehicles, this is so the security that we have at the entrance know you are Bainland guests.
We do not accept any cash throughout the park, we only accept card payments.

YOUR ACCOMMODATION

Yes we do. Cots come complete with bedding as well. Cots and highchairs are free of charge. They can be found when making your booking with us, or alternatively please contact us and we can add these to your booking.
Our Wi-Fi is Free – you can use it by connecting to Bainland Free Wi-Fi. Please note, this is not password protected nor have security or filtering measures been applied, we therefore recommend supervision when used by children.
The Smart TVs in your accommodation should already be connected to our Wi-Fi, if your Smart TV is not connected, please connect this to the Bainland Free Wi-Fi. If you need assistance, please contact reception we are happy to help. Once connected you can log in to any of your accounts such as Netflix, Disney+ etc. Please remember to log out of these accounts on your day of departure.
Yes you can. All our lodges have private parking, or parking very nearby. Should you need additional parking, we have a large car park at reception available to use.
It maybe that you are looking for the group name of the lodge and not the individual lodge. For example, Welton Lodges is the group name. On the map you would need to be looking for Wyberton, Winceby etc. We do have a variety of different groups of lodges so if you are unsure please contact us.
Some lodges are more private than others, some are completely private. Please make sure you read all of the descriptions for the lodges you are looking to potentially book. Alternatively you can contact us for our recommendations.
Yes. Please ensure that the delivery is booked under the same name as your booking with us. We will then be able to direct them to your lodge. Please also ensure that the delivery is booked for after your check in time, as we are unable to accept deliveries on your behalf.

For the comfort and convenience of all guests, we ask you to be respectful of your neighbours by adhering to our 10pm quiet policy. We are a relaxing family friendly lodge retreat and we want to offer tranquillity and a relaxing escape for all our guests. We therefore do not tolerate loud noise or music after 10pm.

FACILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

We have a range of facilities onsite. We have an on-site bar & restaurant – The Nest, a farm shop – The Stores, and offer an in lodge food delivery service. We also have a range of complimentary and instructor-led activities which can be booked during or in advance of your stay. We have bikes for kids of all ages and you can book our swimming pool for private hire. We have an adventure playground for children with swings and a climbing frame as well as a football pitch. The Copper Goose
Our in lodge food delivery service offers the chance to order in when you want to relax. The Copper Goose features a host of menu choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner, including kids, vegetarian & vegan options. We also deliver coffees, teas and iced drinks from our extensive Starbucks menu and a host of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from our dedicated Drinks menu.
The Nest
For an indulgent night out, join us at The Nest – our restaurant and bar offers a bistro-inspired menu as well as an all-weather terrace perfect for all day dining and sipping cocktails at sunset.
Please note that all payments at Bainland Lodge Retreats are by card only.
No we do not have any swimming or fishing lakes on the park. However there are fishing lakes near the area of Woodhall Spa.
Yes there certainly is! We have an indoor heated pool on site, available for private hire only, per lodge, charged at £30 per hour. We have slots available from 9am - 9pm. Swimming pool slots are available to book prior to your arrival or at reception during your stay with us. Please be aware however, booking is subject to availability.

Yes we do have an electric car charging point near the Main Lodge for our guests to use, please pop up to reception to check if it is available.

OUT AND ABOUT FROM BAINLAND

Woodhall Spa is the nearest village. It’s approximately one and a half miles away. Its a very short car journey of 5 minutes, or a flat walk taking 20 minutes.
Our on-site farm shop, The Stores, is open daily and stocks a range of supplies including wine and beer, local produce, sweet treats, artisan cheeses and bakery bread as well as a curated collection of homeware and gift items.The Stores also offers a direct to lodge delivery service for a limited selection of key essential items such as firewood and toiletries. There are also small supermarkets in Woodhall Spa, as well as a butchers, bakery and deli. Bigger super markets can be found around half an hour away.

TRAVELLING TO BAINLAND

Just pop the postcode LN10 6UX into your sat nav, along with 84 as the address number, and this will bring you directly to our entrance.
We are located in the historic village of Woodhall Spa. It takes approximately 20 minutes to walk from Bainland to the shopping parade in Woodhall Spa.  There is a well-established pavement right into the village and it’s fairly flat route.  Driving to or from the village takes less than 5 minutes. There is a car park in Woodhall Spa and usually free on street parking as well. Alternatively, you can hire bikes from our Activities Hub to cycle into Woodhall Spa.

LEAVING BAINLAND

You will need to vacate your accommodation by 10.00am or 12pm if you have a late checkout. Please bring your keys back to reception when checking out.

Check out of your accommodation is at 10am and your hot tubs will be drained at 8am on the day of departure. There is the option to book a late check out of your accommodation at 12pm with hot tubs drained at 10am

When departing Bainland Lodge Retreats, please do return your keys to reception at Main Lodge. Check out of your accommodation is at 10am and your hot tubs will be drained at 8am on the day of departure. You are however welcome to use our facilities including our restaurant, play areas and bookable activities. We do ask however that any vehicles are moved from your lodge to the main car park at the time of check out. There is the option to book a late check out of your accommodation at 12pm with hot tubs drained at 10am. Please indicate this on your online booking form or request this of our Reservations Team.

Please let our reception team know if anything has been damaged or broken in your accommodation prior your departure. We understand that sometimes accidents happen and occasionally items do get damaged or broken. Where applicable, and where unreasonable damage is found in or around your accommodation, charges may apply. By agreeing to our terms and conditions, you accept that charges may be applied to the lead booker’s account within 48 hours of departure.
Where items are reported as excessively dirty, damaged, misused or missing and are not listed below, charges will be considered at the discretion of the Management Team.

MISCELLANEOUS

Booking more than 4 weeks ahead - A 10% deposit is required to secure the booking. We are unable to hold any reservation without a deposit. The balance for your reservation must be paid 4 weeks prior to your arrival. This can be paid by logging into your account with us, please visit this link to do so www.bainland.co.uk . Your deposit is a non-refundable booking fee covering the administrative costs we incur in processing your reservation.
Bookings less than 4 weeks ahead – Full payment by credit or debit card is required at the time of making the reservation must be made at this time.
We do not take any payments over the phone, making a reservation online through our website is the best way.
Payment confirmation - We will send you an email showing the price for your break and any additional charges. It will also detail payments received and due. Please check the details on the confirmation carefully. If any of the details are incorrect, or change, especially your address, you must inform our Reservations Team as soon as possible. You must also ensure that you pay any amount required in accordance with the confirmation payment schedule. If you do not, we will have the right to cancel your reservation and keep or claim your deposit (as it is a non-refundable booking fee).

We do offer a two night stay - checking in on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday. We can offer a one night stay but this is only very last minute. You would need to contact us the day before to see if this is available.
