Over the past few months, big changes have been taking place behind the scenes as we evolve into a complete spa staycation destination. With the highly anticipated opening of The Spa, alongside upgraded facilities, new treatments, outdoor wellness spaces and dining experiences for all ages, our luxury lodge getaways are the kind of place where couples reconnect, friends celebrate, solo travellers recharge, families create memories together, and dogs are just as welcome as their owners!

Building a New Wellness Destination
Excitement has been steadily building across the park as work continues around our newest revamp, The Spa.
Our vision has always been to create a wellness destination focused on relaxation, comfort and charming countryside escapes. Somewhere, our guests can fully switch off from the pressures of everyday life while still enjoying all the luxury and experiences that make their stay feel special.
As part of this transformation, we have been carefully developing three key pillars of the business:

Together, these experiences create something much bigger than a standard weekend break!
Our journey began this spring with the refurbishment of The Gallop treatment rooms, where staff training and an early soft launch allowed our guests an exciting first look into our new spa journey and the full opening of The Spa.
Located within the main building and designed to blend contemporary luxury with calming countryside surroundings, our guests will have access to upgraded wellness facilities including a sauna, steam room, swimming pool and a brand-new outdoor relaxation area complete with hot tubs, sun loungers and an invigorating ice bath.
It’s a major step forward for Bainland, and one that perfectly complements our peaceful woodland setting that our guests already know and love.
Fitness enthusiasts will also find everything they need for a rewarding workout in our fully equipped gym, open daily from 7.15am to 8.00pm. Featuring premium TechnoGym equipment, the space caters to all fitness levels and exercise preferences.
Start your day with a run on the treadmill, complete with virtual trainer support, or raise your heart rate on the cross trainer, exercise bike, or rowing machine. For a more mindful approach, yoga mats, medicine balls, and balance domes are all available to help you stretch, strengthen, and unwind.
If strength training is your focus, take advantage of our range of resistance and weight-training equipment, including the lat pulldown machine, shoulder press, leg curl machine, and cable pulley station for both upper and lower body workouts. A selection of free weights is also available for guests who prefer functional training and body conditioning exercises.
No booking is required, simply sign in upon arrival and enjoy your workout at your convenience.

The Spa at Bainland
The upcoming launch of the new Spa marks one of the most exciting developments the park has seen to date. The spa has been carefully designed to feel calm, welcoming and immersive from the moment guests arrive. This isn’t about rushed appointments or crowded facilities, but about creating an environment where guests can genuinely relax.
Guests will be able to enjoy access to swimming facilities, sauna and steam rooms, a stunning outdoor spa terrace, hot tubs, sun loungers, ice bath experiences, treatment rooms and a wellness-focused relaxation space. Our outdoor spa terrace is expected to become one of Bainland’s standout features during every season.
In summer, guests can lounge outdoors between treatments with a drink in hand while soaking up the relaxed atmosphere. During cooler months, the contrast between the warming hot tubs and refreshing outdoor air creates the perfect cosy spa escape.
It’s these kinds of experiences that make Bainland especially appealing during the off-season too. Autumn and winter wellness breaks are also becoming increasingly popular, where the spa offers guests a reason to visit even outside traditional holiday periods.

Our spa experiences have been tailored to suit a variety of lifestyles, occasions and ways to unwind. Across all packages, guests can enjoy complimentary robes, towels and flip-flops, a welcome beverage, an optional 30-minute treatment and a light lunch as part of their visit.
Morning Spa Experience
Our Morning Spa Experience invites guests to arrive from 10am and spend the day easing into relaxation at their own pace. Guests can enjoy the thermal facilities before heading to The Nest for lunch. From light crisp salads and sharing dishes, delicious sandwiches with a side of fries, to hearty mains that keep you going for the rest of the day, there is something for everyone.
Optional massage add-ons also allow all our guests to personalise their visit further, making this package especially popular for:

Afternoon Spa Experience
For guests wanting to completely switch off from everyday routines, the Afternoon Spa Experience offers the perfect antidote.
Arriving from 2pm, guests can spend the afternoon moving between our thermal facilities and outdoor spaces. The experience feels especially suited to couples and friendship groups looking to reconnect without a full overnight stay, and can be paired with a delicious afternoon tea to share.
Twilight Spa Experience
As the sun begins to set, the spa takes on a completely different atmosphere.
From 8pm, our adults-only Twilight Spa Experience offers two peaceful evening hours designed for rest and relaxation. With soft lighting, warm water and calm surroundings, it creates the perfect environment to truly switch off after a busy day.
For many guests, it offers a refreshing alternative to the usual date night – a chance to slow down, reconnect and unwind together in a more tranquil setting. Rather than busy restaurants or crowded bars, evenings can end wrapped in a robe, relaxing in a hot tub beneath the night sky and leaving feeling genuinely restored.
Throughout the experience, guests can also enjoy a welcome beverage and a fresh fruit bowl for light refreshments during their visit.
Sunday Recharge
Sunday evenings often carry that familiar feeling of preparing for another busy week. However, our Sunday Recharge package has been designed to change that feeling completely, so you can enter the week with a spring in your step.
Guests can spend the afternoon enjoying the spa facilities before experiencing an exclusive 30-minute treatment. The experience ends with a sharing platter delivered directly to your lodge or available to take away.
Head into Monday feeling calmer, lighter and more rested.

The dining experience at Bainland is just as much of a reason to visit as our lodges themselves! The Nest is our inviting restaurant space designed for everything from relaxed lunches to evening meals and celebratory dining experiences. Enjoy live music every Saturday, as well as special dining offers, such as fish and fizz Fridays, Tuesday tipples and Sunday roasts for all the family.
However, one of the best things about staying at Bainland is the range of culinary choices. Some evenings call for dressing up and heading out for dinner for a date night or a get together with your favourite people. Others are made for staying in and relaxing, ordering food directly to your lodge and spending the evening in the hot tub.
Bainland caters beautifully to both. Tuck in to in-lodge dining and savour hearty breakfasts, delicious lunches or dinner options that appeal to all tastes. Similarly, our grazing boards that are perfect for sharing, or for something special, opt for a private chef experience that can completely transform your stay!

One of the unique things about us is the way we allow every generation to enjoy the same stay in their own way. Parents might spend the morning unwinding in the spa while children dive into activities and outdoor adventures. Younger guests can try archery, tennis, off-road driving experiences and Segway tours, or burn off energy at the outdoor adventure play area, complete with a zip-line, climbing frame and more on sunny days. Families can also make the most of the bike hire service to explore the surrounding countryside together at their own pace.
When the weather turns, the Games Lounge offers indoor entertainment including interactive darts, American pool and more, with the activity timetable providing details on daily sessions and availability. Meanwhile, grandparents can relax back at the lodge, dogs can enjoy countryside walks, and everyone can come together again in the evenings for dinner and quality time

Looking Ahead to Summer
As June approaches, excitement around The Spa at Bainland continues to build.
The opening signals the evolution of Bainland into a complete countryside wellbeing destination where guests can stay, relax, dine and reconnect all in one place.
Visitors returning this summer will notice a number of thoughtful enhancements across the park, particularly within the swimming and wellness areas. As part of these improvements and the wider wellness experience now available on site, general swimming sessions will move to £7.50 per person from Monday 1st June.
While swimming access was previously included, this contribution helps support the continued investment being made into the facilities, guest experience and expanded wellness offering for everyone to enjoy.
Ultimately, our vision is simple. To create a destination where guests leave feeling better than when they arrived!
