Tourers

Those visiting us with their own caravans or other camping vehicles will be delighted to find a touring caravan park set in mature woodland that has been designed to give you the ultimate in privacy and convenience.
We have 4 types of pitches available, one of which will suit you whether you are visiting us with a luxury motor home or the most basic of tents. For prices of all our pitches please refer to our tariff page.

1. Super Pitch Large (Hardstanding and Grass) up to 29 feet
Our largest Super Pitches are capable of hosting the largest of RV/motor homes and are amongst the largest pitches to be found anywhere in the UK. There are limited numbers of super pitches on the site, so an early booking of these sites is recommended. The pitches are hard standing blocks for your car or motor home with an area of grass-filled blocks to place an awning. The remainder of the pitch is surrounded by grass. Most of these pitches are in pairs and are surrounded by hedges on three sides for additional privacy. Included in the price is selected Sky TV channels (when available) + terrestrial channels, water and sewerage outlets and electricity (10-16amp).

2. Super Pitch (Hardstanding and Grass) up to 23 feet
These pitches have hard standing blocks for your car or motor home with an area of grass-filled blocks to place an awning. The remainder of the pitch is surrounded by grass. Many of these pitches are surrounded by hedges on three sides for additional privacy. Included in the price is selected Sky TV channels (when available) + terrestrial channels, water and sewerage outlets and electricity (10-16amp).

3. Gravel Pitch/Tent Deluxe (Pea Gravel & Grass)
These pitches are large by any standards. Made up of pea gravel and surrounded by grass, there is ample room for a large caravan, car and awning. These pitches are grouped in pairs, fours or in a circle. In all cases there is room to stretch out without encroaching on others. These pitches are excellent for group bookings (when available) as groups can be accommodated into semi private areas.

4. Tent Pitch (Grass)
For the more traditional tenter, these pitches are on one of our two tenting fields, with pitches marked out by markers. No pitch is more than a couple of minutes walk. Our ground staff are available for help and advice when you are setting up your equipment.

High standard toilet facilities have recently been constructed, are heated all year round and include toilet and shower facilities for the disabled. There are fully equipped laundry facilities. Dogs on leads are allowed, and a dog walk has been provided for the early morning and late evening walk. Summer and winter storage is available.
